Movie Project Update
I’ve come a long way with learning how to use a camera. Getting a camera was step 1 actually. I knew nothing before, but when you have to be your own cinematographer, you learn quickly. Just like everything else, there’s only so much you actually need to know. Just go with the 80/20 rule. I’ve mostly shot one person scenes so far though. I’m ready to film the scenes that have way more actors.
I plan to shoot 1-2 big scenes a week and have the project done by the end of April. One of the best things I’ve done is back away from everything else. Backing away from stand up comedy, writing on the novel, learning coding, and Construct 2. There’s so many things to focus on with this movie, I need to spend hours on each one of them.
I still have locations and actors to lock down. Everyone is taken off guard when you ask for help for a movie. It’s so out of the ordinary, they make it feel even weirder. It almost feels like asking out a girl when I approach.
The not having money is the smallest of all the problems when it comes to all the organizing and planning.
